Sunday Wrap Up

What a week is an understatement!! What did I do all summer and why did I waste so much time doing nothing? So much to do now! I am already "ready" for Fall!!! I am ready for cooler weather, football games, candy apples, pumpkins, bonfires, decorating for Fall, and most of all Halloween. I am thinking Halloween Party again this year. It is one of my favorite holidays. I love dressing up and dressing the kids up.

This weekend we were actually able to enjoy the pool and relax. Starting back to school hasn't been easy but we have learned to relax and enjoy the weekends.

I even had some chicks jump in my lap to eat, they are so friendly and spoiled! The twins have starting repeating almost all we say and mocking us, so funny!

We have made a goal this year to go tailgate! The guys said they would go to an Alabama game so I'm super excited!! I am the only Alabama Fan in their family;). Have a Great Week & Roll Tide!!

~First Day~

First Day of Kindergarten! Kolby started his first day (on my birthday), so there was a lot to celebrate and be emotional about ;). I didn't cry but could have…such a big step! He had a great first day and we love his teacher!! I’m hoping the year will be great for him! He rode the school bus for the first time today, from his school to my school, and he did great! His daddy even drove down to see him get off the bus this afternoon (yet he told me to quit being sad this morning ha;). You can tell from the pics, that Kolby was a little shy this morning. I love taking him to school and having "extra" time with such a special little guy!

Back to work we go...

What a week so far, I cannot complain! I have enjoyed these "work days". I am ready to get into a routine, but yearn for my lazy days already. I had a great kickoff to the "new year". My sweet and dear friend Shana came over Saturday and we had a girl's day, followed by a fish fry with family Sunday. This really helped me relax and get ready for the new year! There are lots of changes going on in the Dupree home this week. The twins have started daycare and Kolby is starting Kindergarten on Tuesday! Stay tuned for pics of the "first day". My new motto this year, put the past behind you and move on;).
